I just read the article on Canon Rumors about issues with the RF200-800 breaking in half under normal use. has anyone heard anything from Canon about what their plans are to fix this?

First, the charger works for 110 or 220, just get a travel plug adapter. I would still recommend 1 spare battery to use “just in case”The 17-40 is going to be VERY limiting. I would recommend picking up a used 24-70 or 24-105
