@shadowsports has the fix correctly shown in his image. "PDF" must be chosen from the drop-down in order for the printer to prompt & wait for <Scan Next> or <Finish>, otherwise, it scans 1 page and goes straight-thru <Finish>.

Canon has done nothing that I can see from the perspective of the MF650C series.

Re-check @jjs710's post with link above before jumping to HP, as their product line might also be affected by the 24H2 update.
