When I last used my RF 100-500 telephoto lens, it would not retract below 300mm, only allowing me to shoot between 300 and 500. Any idea what I need to do to correct this limitation? Also, could this issue have arisen from the use of a 2x extender?
Trevor; Thanks for your help. I called the number you provided and learned I will need to send in my lens for repair. It will cost me $s, but hopefully it will be usable again.
I am sorry I was not clear. I was not asking about the time I was using the 2x extender. It was after I removed the 2x extender. At that point, my lens would still no longer go back below 300, without the extender being used.
