Canon MB2120 Maxify printer - Can't Replace Yellow Cartridge

My Canon MB2120 Maxify printer will not give me the message to install a new yellow ink tank cartridge and therefore it will not let me replace it and the yellow ink tank is empty now.Help[Email address removed to protect privacy]
