I think the lens are (the op, and mine 50mm) before the dock era, not the Art series, but before with the gold band 

I had simmiliar issue with 6DII and Sigma 50 HSM.1) disable correction, as ebiggs1 written2) the second problem I had with this lens is that it was too dark when used from live view. Just switch to "partial metering" and the problem is gone.
