canon TS5320 printer is set to front cartridge tray, plain letter paper but requests rear feed.

Printer is set to front cartridge tray, plain letter paper but requests rear feed. Ink was low. I replaced black ink cartridge and now it asks for rear paper. It has worked great for a year but now will only print from rear.
