This option allows you to manually focus with RF lenses even when autofocus is active, but this option is not working on the R8, as it does on my other R6 and R10 cameras.Anyone experiencing the same problem?

Some lenses, like the RF16mm has a switcher button to focus control or just "control" (can be customized to speed, aperture or ISO). So the ring has more than one function. Some lenses, like the RF35mm has a ring dedicated just to the focus control.
UPDATE: I just updated to the new firmware released today, 1.1.0 and nothing has changed. I still can't use Electronic full-time MF on video with lenses with independent focus ring
