I actually have done a test from a blog post using batteries and there doesn’t seem to be a focus issue. With the shutter speed as high, along with the other settings, could that have contributed to the soft image?

Thank you for all the advice and I will definitely be looking into what you suggested. As far as using my phone goes, once I take my photos with my 6D, I then upload them onto my phone for the Lightroom app since I don’t have a computer
