To everyone experiencing this issue just change your current date and time backwards to be able to temporarily use the scanner.

Hi ArthurJYour above solutions didn't work. What I found out was setting the date and time backwards fixed the problem. I think this is a firmware issue with these products. I'm currently using DR-C240 scanner.

This is a firmware bug for Canon Scanners. To temporarily fix this issue we need to set the date and time backwards to be able to scan again.
