PIXMA MX490 for a WIRED network connection

What kind of wire is used to connect a Pixma MX 490 to a Netgear Prosafe Gigabit Switch?  The switch uses a RJ45 but the Pixma needs a USB B.  Is there a recommended adapter for this situation?
