I've received my R7 back from Canon factory service. The Service Details were a little vague "examined and electrical adjustments were performed". But front and back focusing with my EF lenses are no longer an issue. Very happy with the results.
I appreciate the responses to my post. There is not yet a resolution to the problem. I contacted Canon and they told me to send the R7 to them for factory service. I'll be posting the results when it returns.
