How many speedlites equal the power of a strobe?

I love my mx860 for printing but I really like Epson photo paper.How can I set my printer to print with Expson paper in Canon Easy PhotoPrint Ex?

Will flash help to git rid of grain at high iso like 6400 and above?

I would like to cut the power down past 128 on my ex600. Now I know I can bounce the flash , but this does not work in a dark room. I can use the a defuser or bounce card but I would need  more light to go forward that this options allow.  I can stop...
