Says busy when I shoot many pictures really fast and then switch to video mode on my R5. (Im usually connected via wifi to my laptop). I mostly end up fixing it by switching off and still needing to slide my battery out and back in for it to restart....

Noob here, but if you have a ninja V you can use the onion skin feature in the monitor.... Another completely unrelated option could be using your phone, theres an align feature if you are in reels on instagram that also allows you to overlay. G'luck...
