Why is the AF mode greyed out when using EF Sigma lenses on my C100?

I have tried two EF Sigma lenses, the 18-300 and the 18-35 on my C100 and both show a greyed out AF Mode in the menu settings. My apologies for the question, I know it's an old camera.
