what does printer error 5c10 mean?

I have a MP520 Multifunction Printer. I am getting an error 5c10 when I tell it to print. Any suggestions?
Has anyone successfully replaced the battery cover on a PowerShot A560

Can this be done without disassembly? I mention this because the door seems to be encased in a plastic casting, so there must be some procedure for manipulating it to safely remove.
