Why is there no "copy" button on the Canon IJ Scan Utility Main Screen ?

I have a new Canon LiDE 300 scanner. The scann itself has a "copy" button, which is great. But I would also like to be able to make a copy from the IJ Scan Utility Main Screen, which looks like this: Why is there no Copy button?
