Pixma ts9500 needs frequent remove and reinstall to get computer to see it online

Windows 11 will print just fine on the PIXMA TS9500 series printer and then some time later, windows shows printer offline when it is not offline. Twice now I needed to remove and then add the printer again to get it working. What am I missing?
