I have three laptop at home all start to show same problem simultaneously, so I think its window’s automatic driver installation process that misses to download printing specific driver or the package available for window automatic installation only ...
I just had the same problem. I solved it by installing MX920 printer driver manually from internet. It looks like automatic default driver is only installed for fax when you try to add the printer which is available in your network.
