Camera connect importing SUPER SLOW all of the sudden with new iphone

I have been using the camera connect app for over a year and it has worked perfectly. I got a new IPhone 11, reinstalled the app and now it takes almost 5 minutes to import ONE picture. Any suggestions?????  I have a Rebel T6.
