Downloadable manual for PIXMA3100 printers doesn't work under Mac OS 10.15.6

I downloaded the manual file from the Canon support website for my PIXMA MG3120, but the file ( mem_-mac-mg3100-1_11-e2_2.dmg ) fails to install correctly under Mac OS 10.15.6 Anyone else encountered this problem? Can anything be done?
