I gave up on Windows 10 to quickly look at my 5D4 raw photos and will just use the Canon DPP. With my 7D2 I could just quickly look at thumbnails and discard obvious ones that could be deleted. DPP takes a little longer but I'll make it work. Thanks ...
The 5D4 is singled out also. I bought mine last week (March 2020) and .CR2 files from that camera will not open. The .CR2 files from my 7D2 will. But that camera is 2 years old.
Thanks kvbarkley for the prompt reply. And I was unaware that the files would be coded differently. I thought a .CR2 was a .CR2, guess i really do learn something new everyday. Now, how to fix it? I guess I could just stick to the MAC cause it seems ...
