Canon Community

I have an older Canon RC-1 remote I bought when I had my old EOS 630 (or maybe my Xti). Will this work with my 80D, or do I need to upgrade to something more compatible?

My favorite lens, EFS 17-85mm ultrasonic with image stabiizer, has a bad boo-boo. The aperture mechanism is jammed. I've tried many remedial methods.Anyone out there ever experienced this issue with this lens?  

Why isn't there a forum where we can share our favorite images taken with our Canon gear? Or am I missing something here?
