PIXMA MG6120 Unable to print or scan from macOS Monterey 12.3.1

Canon PIXMA MG6120. I was able to print right before I put on latest Mac update but not scan.. Now can't do anything. So I added the printer again and now I can print, but there is no option to scan.

pdf documents are printing backwards

They appear properly on my screen, but what prints is a mirror image. This is Canon MG6120. Never seen this before Apple's update this week. I am using Macbook Pro macOS High Sierra 10.13.6
