I have not found a solution. I miss my old Pixma that wasn’t an ink hog and had this option. I’m searching for other brands now. The ink for this printer empties at a ridiculously fast rate and I also regret this purchase
Gotcha, although in my last printer (Canon MG500 series) I had 2 black inks and still had a draft option. The reason why the draft option/fast option was nice was because you could quickly print a text document and not use up as much ink in the proce...
That's such a terrible response!!! So are they suggesting customers use two printers, one for regular document printing and one for high quality photos? First time in my lifetime of buying printers that I have not had a draft mode.
I am very, very disapointed by the lack of the draft quality option on Mac OS. @Canon are you still working on solutions for this or should we assume we will never be able to print in draft quality? How unfortunate...really makes me regret this purch...
