I have mac so I ended up downloading CD-LabelPrint Free here: https://download.freedownloadmanager.org/Mac-OS/CD-LabelPrint/FREE-1.9.0.html and IT WORKS NOW! Thanks for your help. Looks like you just can't use the Canon "My Image Garden" junk

Mine did the exact same thing. Still trying to figure it out before I return it.
