Thanks! After hours of viewing videos I found the problem. By default the paper guides were set really close. Once I saw that then it was a breeze! Already printed 6 pages via the adf!
Actually found it myself at this site: https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART142377 My guides were not properly set as I had never used this feature!
