St-E3-RT Compatibility

Is the ST-E3-RT Transmitter and 600EX-RT combo fully compatible with the Canon 1D Mark IV without any of the restrictions noted in the transmitter user guide on page 19 (eg. cameras produced up to 2011)???

The EOS-1D Mark IV was released before 2011, so the restrictions listed for these earlier models do apply.
