600EX-RT with CP-E?

I assume I can use the old Battery Pack CP-E with an 600EX-RT. Is that correct?

Yes, it will work just fine. All the Canon "Compact Battery Packs" put out the same 300 volts. It doesn't mater if they have 6 AA batteries or 8. The output volatge is the same.
