Stevet1 did this a month or so ago and it was fun, so I'll give it a go. What is it? If nobody gets it today I'll give another clue tomorrow. But with this crowd I'm expecting it may be obvious to someone.

Thanks to the guessers. So credit goes to FarOutDude, Wadizzle and others on the thread RF 100mm f/2.8 L Macro IS USM Lens from Canon With R5 Mark ii Mount Questions & Subject Suggestions" and March411 posting some macro shots. I just had gotten my EF 100mm f/2.8 IS Macro lens, mount and such, and in the thread FarOutDude was asking about possible indoor macro subjects, which got me to thinking of all the things that might look interesting via macro shots. So, this was my first macro shooting - that is my leather hat and feathers. Below is the brass hatband "buckle" (brand left off to ensure I didn't violate rules here). I'm looking forward to exploring the world of macro shooting - particularly this coming spring. Again, thanks for those who guessed!

No, sorry. Thanks for trying! I will be offline a bit and wait and see if the guesses pile up a bit before responding. Thanks for the guessing! Please limit to one guess per person btw 🙂 And happy New Years Eve to you and all and wishes for a good New Year.

Adding another clue before I head to bed. Maybe I'll wake up and someone will have the right answer!
