Working Birds

I recently worked on a series of images of birds photographed on tools. The prior one was musical instruments. These images are created by placing a  single port bird feeder just out of the cameras view. I clamp the tool up next to the feeder for the birds to land on. My camera position is roughtly eight to twelve feet away in a photoblind or behind a window hide with the camera on a ground pod setting on the window sill. For my camera settings I typically use AV mode, F 8.0 at ISO 80400 or above. Canon R6 MKII with a Canon RF 100-500mm lens.Black-headed GrosbeakBlack-headed GrosbeakSteller's JaySteller's Jay
