Somehow, for whatever reason, looking across photo forums and books you will be bound to see pictures of the trunks of trees, stumps, pith, and whatever perspective on wood seems to captivate people. Here is my contribution to this common order of images. The camera is an R100, The exposure was 6000k color balance, Neutral Picture style, ISO 400 1/60 sec @f4. The lens is a manual focus Tamron SP 28-80 zoom. Black and white transformation and tweaking done in Pix.
