Why the Christmas Fairy Is at the Top of the Christmas Tree.

Up in the North Pole, Santa was having a tough time...
* The reindeer had distemper and wanted sick leave.
* The dwarves wanted to put in for a living wage and equal pay with the elves
* Mrs. Clause was upset because climate change had melted a lot of her carefully crafted ice sculptures

The last straw was when the Christmas Fairy turned up at the door. She had been tasked with getting a Christmas tree, but had delayed and the specimen she had was very scraggly. It also cost a lot more!
She explained: "Because I was late there was very little choice and a lot of competition for what was left, so I had to pay double, and it got damaged on the way back - but here it is.
Where do you want me to stick it?"

That is why the Christmas Fairy ended up on the top of the Christmas tree...R1001399 LR copy.jpg
Merry Christmas to one and all!

That has been around for years but love to hear it. It was originally told as the tree angel.

Thanks John!  Well, a good yarn is always worth dusting off and sharing.  I tried to update the challenges that Santa had to match those of the current time! 🙂
