I think I'm starting to get a little farther in my Macro Photo journey.  I took this photo yesterday, before the rain came down.  I used my Canon Speedlight 430EX III with my Cygnustech Diffuser on this bee that sat long enough for me to snap this shot.  I love the Cygnustech Diffuser.  I'm still working on my photo technique as the hardest part for me is holding the camera steady enough to get a good shot.  Hit me with some likes (love)!  😋

Why did the bee go to the dermatologist?

It had hives!

Thank you for posting these macro masterpieces. (Overkill) 🙄

I am trying to enter the macro world and am finding that it is not as easy as it looks.

Love how you captured the transparency in the wings!

Hi Jkarl,

I like you thought that the macro world "is not as easy as it looks". and hey, I totally get why macro photography might seem intimidating at first, all those tiny details, the gear, the lighting.  But the truth is that it's not hard, it's just a different rhythm.  Once you commit to learning the basics and give yourself time to experiment, it becomes incredibly rewarding.  You don't need to master everything overnight.  Start with what you have, learn one thing at a time, and let the process surprise you.  The macro world rewards patience and play.  Once you get into the rhythm, it becomes second nature.  Trust me the journey is worth it, and I'll be here cheering you on every step of the way.  I'll be posting an article about how to get started in the JFG's KB.  I'm stil learning, experimenting and continuing the journey.  #WorkFlowOrDieTrying

And hey, if you ever feel stuck, just remember that even the best macro shots started with a shaky first attempt.  #FromBlurToBanger
