Apologies for the quality of this photo and if its not relevant to this community. But I just wanted to share a rare phenomenon with you.
This was 9.00pm tonight, 22,000 people in attendance to listen to the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. This is an annual event that we've attended in the past.
BUT it was around 39°C when the photo was taken, and an electric storm brewing, that brought the concert to a very quick ending. See the red sky.
The peaked roof is made of 'space age' material that can withstand almost anything, so the orchestra were quite safe.

Why apologize? I'm sure I'm not alone in seeing places and events that some have access to and the camera shares that access to many others. Every photo need not be an attempt to be the next Ansel Adams. I appreciate "travelogue" pictures for their simplicity, honesty, and authenticity. Shadowsports and JFG--to name two--have recently shared travelogue photos that I have greatly enjoyed. I shared my snaps of the Getty Villa because I know not everyone here has access to it but it is worth seeing. I always appreciate what you share with us. Your train ride will be off-the-charts interesting to see. Keep sharing.
