I want to take pictures of trains. I just haven't scouted around to find out where is a good spot that is permissible. Too busy with other things I guess.

for the Steam Engines, the Big Boy is in Ogden UT for 2 days and then off to the east coast for the 250 year celebration, check out the Union Pacific Big Boy schedule incase it stops in Los Angeles area. There is a Freedom Steam Engine coming later this year and into 2027 for the 250 year celebration painted in red, white and blue. from the East Coast to the West coast tour.

Freedom Train tour from East to the West coast schedule is not available, yet. but is expected to make a up to 24 month tour with a stop in the Los Angeles area and northern CA area with the other 47 states included.
