The rain took a break, and I took a hike.

As you probably know, California is being buffeted by copious amounts of rain and strong winds for the last few days and it's to continue until next Wednesday.  Lord and behold, on Saturday, the rain took a break.  I took the opportunity, headed out with my R6 Mark II and 150-600 mm lens for a hike at Rancho San Antonio Preserve, hoping to shoot some wildlife.  Although it was somewhat of a short hike before the rain and wind started, I was able to get the following pics.

Doe grazing...Doe grazing...Gopher watching..Gopher watching..Coyote choosing..Coyote feeling dejected..Coyote feeling dejected..

Nice photos. Surprising what one finds when doing nothing more than taking a walk.

Absolutely, if I would of been out looking for it, I would of missed it all.   When the rains 🌧 stop the wild life comes a new !  I heard the birds singing but didn't see  one !    lol
