I like how the photo is blurred around the spider, emphasizing the subject. This reminds me of the "B" horror movies that were popular in the 1950s.

I am always impressed how folks taking images like this can do so and not spook the subject.  Great image and use of DoF.  The sharpness of the lens giving such detain in the spider's front two eyes is excellent.
