Some wild Parrots outside my front door

We have some wild parrots in the neighborhood, and they were squawking a lot yesterday, so I grabbed my Canon T6S and the Tamron 150-600.

My wife looked it up, these are not parrots, but a yellow chevroned parakeet.

Whatever he is, he is a long way from the Amazon!

There are several similar colonies. The colony in San Francisco is somewhat famous - it became a movie: The Parrots of Telegraph Hill.
