 EOS90D with 70-300mm, from my back garden at 8.00pm last night.

Grainy B&W setting. Struggling with AF for some reason, so switched to MF.

AF can struggle if there's a lack of contrast.

I love the true black and white and the almost one-dimensionality it creates. It would have been fun to have played with manual and see if the shadows could be opened.

Yes I am enjoying this B&W trip. I'm leaning more about the camera settings and Ansel's zones are really making me think about the composition and exposures
