The rural countryside is dotted with grain elevators that can be seen from a long distance. This happens to be located across the highway from a wonderful local cheese factory in Auroraville, Waushara County, Wisconsin USA. This image was captured from the parking lot of the cheese factory.

Maybe it's just because of where I was raised, but I find a certain attractive quality to agricultural/farm buildings, especially dis-used and abandoned barns, sheds, etc...

Good photo. Now we know where the grain for our food originates. Hard to visit WI and not buy cheese. Even harder to keep from eating it before you get home.

Thanks, John! I have yet to make it home from the cheese factory with a full bag of fresh cheese curds--at least half are eaten before I arrive home!
