Eos90d and 85mm on today's walk. In post war Britain and elsewhere, car ownership grew rapidly. So the need to house the possessions grew also. Up popped asbestos and corrugated tin garages. Some of these toxic structures still exist in the more rural areas around where I live.
Here's an example!

Gotta have some place to store the TVR or the occasional Jensen Interceptor.

Hi Lee
Check out the late Bunty Scott- Moncrief. I think he was a director at TVR and was involved from its early days. I knew him and his wife Avril, through the Vintage Sports Car Club, which I was a member of in the 1980s. I also helped him.restore a Packard straight 8, drop head coupe. I think it was pre war.
Amazing character. Privileged to have known him. They lived in a mansion called Basford Hall, and his business, selling old Rolls Royce had the title 'Purveyor of Horseless Carriages to the Nobility since 1920..
There are a couple of books written about him.
