Never been to Yellowstone. Planning on going in 2027. Also, need to go to Grand Canyon.  Thank you for your comments. I will stay away from the fluffy cows as Jkarl called them. Do not want to be on YouTube flying through the air because I got to close. use a telephoto lens like you did.

LOL.... yes that's not a good way to fly.

You will love it, spent four days in Yellowstone and two in Jackson Hole which honestly was a bit disappointing. 

We did see four people tease a Bison in Yellowstone. It was standing in the middle of the road. I hope insurance covers the sever damage the fluffy cow did to the entire rear end of their Corolla. My camera was in the back seat of the truck and it all happened so fast. Never tease a fluffy cow..

The shedding wool on that shoulder is doing real work. Bedded, half-lidded, and the black and white holds every tangle in the coat. f/16 at 354mm on the 200-800 is a lot of depth for a head-on portrait. Reads as afternoon heat, not a trophy stare.
