Shot this Northern flicker on a Canon EOS 7D Mark ll with an EF 100-400    400mm f/7.1  1/400  ISO 1250  Exp -0.7     I love my old DSLR

Certainly nothing wrong with the quality of that shot!  Well done.

It is cool for me that the EOS 7D Mark ll and I share a retirement date of January 2027.  Maybe that's less cool for you though - sorry about that.
