I have been trying to get out for a daily walk of around 8km in addition to my Pump, New Body and Step classes at home. To keep it interesting, I take a different camera/lens combo with me each time and keep an eye out for opportunities for the most humble subjects.
With Spring in full swing down under, the flowers provide an abundance of inspiration. Today, I went out with the venerable EOS 650D and its EF-S 18-135 STM kit lens.
Here are some of the results: all hand-held in available light.

Again, you have overwhelmed us with outstanding photos. It's amazing what types of flora are found throughout the world. My complements on the photos with clarity and vivid colors.

Thank you! 🙂

I wish we had some kind of real (say first) name, say as a signature, to address you with - I like to do that as a matter of respect if I can.

While recovering from a sports injury ten years ago, I used to take long, slow walks which gave me the opportunity to notice details about places that I'd photograph with my iPhone. Over the past couple years I've gotten into the habit of  walking every Saturday morning and taking pictures again. It's a good way to stay active. Great shots!
