ISLAND DREAM

While hiking in northern Massachusetts, I was looking for photo compositions at the reservoir.  I spotted this spot of land that appeared to be floating there.  Times I have returned there I have not seen this island again.  It turns out that the water level was abnormally low when I took this photo.  So in a sense, this is a once in a lifetime shot.

I love the image and your story. Thank you for sharing! I spend a lot of time on the water out here on the west coast and am always amazed by the changing landscape.
