I captured this portrait of the neighbor kid showing off her new dog in May of 1978.  Natural sunlight coming from the girl’s left was slightly enhanced for fill-in by reflecting off a white garage just off camera view on the girl’s right.

You got the settings bang on and it's a great composition, rendering a lovely image.  I wonder if that young lady has a copy of it now - I guess she would be in her 50's...   There was something special about Tri-ax film, the tonal quality with the fine grain rendered a special feeling to the images.

cheers, TREVOR

The mark of good photographer is less what they hold in their hand, it's more what they hold in their head;
"All the variety, all the charm, all the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow", Leo Tolstoy;
"Skill in photography is acquired by practice and not by purchase" Percy W. Harris

Thank you for your kind comments, Trevor!

Very nice!

It (and your description) brings back fond memories.

I also once owned an original AE-1 and 50mm f1.8.  I shot many of rolls of Tri-X with that camera and lens and developed them in D-76.

Thank you, zakslm!  If I close my eyes for a moment, I can almost smell the developer and stop bath...it really takes one back in time!
