That is seriously modified Brian.  I rather like the classic simplicity of the original mini.  I appreciate that BMW have rescued the brand and it is doing OK but to me it's just not the same...

Trevor you are indeed correct, that's a car in contention for the "World's Fastest Mini" and has won it in previous years. I think that original Minis didn't have the option for a V8 engine and side exit exhaust. 

However alongside these beasts were some sixties era racing Mini's too. I really liked the Mini van.
