Dark clouds in the valley

Ramsden
Whiz

Walking back last evening, down a 10° gradient into my village, a dark cloud rolled across the horizon. The lines are telephone wires attached to  nearby cottages.

Camera EOS90D, 18-135 mm at 85mm, IS0 200, 1/323s. Set in zone system M, spot focus etc. Hand held to catch the moment.

Love how the wires cut across the frame, adding that touch of human presence against a massive sky. 📸

Thanks James

Just in the right place at the right time. I had my tripod in my bag but time and windy conditions made me grab my camera to capture the moment.

The wires are what "make" this image. They give direction and tension to the image.
