My wife and I encountered this scene as we hiked in one of our local parks, Purisima Creek Redwoods. While we had taken this trail many few times before, I saw this scene in a different way this time. Now that we have this photo on our wall, I find it very relaxing to study. I hope some of you will find it peaceful too!
BTW, I used my 7DII + 18-35 mm f/4 L IS USM lens, and edited with Lightroom Classic.

Nice photo. I'm about 20 min north and ride Purisima Creek every few years. Typically fthe singletrack from 35 down to the parking lot. The views are breath taking.

Rick-
Thank you. Yes, that is a nice trail you talk about-- the Whittemore Gulch Trail, I think. The scene in the photo is on the Harkins Ridge Trail, about 1/2 mile from the bottom.
