While I have certain things that I am drawn to photograph again and again and never tire of doing so, there are other things I have photographed again and again that I have grown bored with.
I've found myself in a rut shooting pictures of Bakersfield (CA) and I needed to break out of that creative impasse by taking some images that more or less have bored me and corrupting them.
"Burger Hut" and "Do Not Tiki Ko" were shot with a Canon R8 and "Tegler" and "Toro" were shot with an R100.
I've been playing a lot lately with transforming photographs into something that are images but no longer photographs. This has absolutely sparked my creativity, though I don't purport that the results are masterpieces of visual excellence. Just my current journey in challenging myself to see.
